Olivia MacMillan LAc

My name is Olivia MacMillan and I am a licensed Acupuncturist. I have known my entire life that my calling would be in the medical field. In highschool, as an athlete myself, I began to pursue sports medicine. I worked with athletes on the different sports teams at Agoura High School. Volunteering my time as a student athletic trainer with the football team, track team, water polo players etc. This is where my passion for working with athletes and sports injury began. While going through college I had a job at a Chiropractor’s office and Physical therapy clinic learning more about musculoskeletal pathology and expanding my horizons past athletic training and into the possible other medical careers I could choose which ended up being traditional Chinese medicine.

Thankful for the blessings of life’s journey and mentoring with Dr. Pendleberry, I felt an instant connection to Traditional Chinese Medicine and how the mind, body, and spirit are intertwined through this medicine. The biggest draw for me was addressing the body as a whole with no set limitations.

At my office, not only do I treat sports injuries but I treat a wide variety of diseases and disorders of patients at any age. Some examples include pain management, headaches, stress and anxiety, menstrual disorders, sleep disorders, digestive problems, fatigue and many more. I use the modalities of traditional Chinese medicine to approach a patient’s entire health, including  acupuncture, cupping, heat therapy, gua sha, red & NIR light therapy, PEMF, Chinese herbs, nutritional advice, and lifestyle changes. The goal is to enhance a patient’s life and create more peace within the body.
